Great Danes, also known as “gentle giants,” are one of the largest dog breeds in the world. Due to their calm demeanor and majestic appearance, they are extremely popular. Once used as wild boar hunters, the tradition of cropping their ears originated from the belief that it protected them from injuries. Nowadays, this practice is fortunately declining, as they are primarily kept as family pets. It’s no wonder that this interesting and beautiful breed is often depicted in artworks and even on the silver screen, with the most famous cinematic representation being Scooby-Doo.

This particular statue of a dog is life-sized, and its features are crafted exceptionally realistically, ensuring that this remarkable sculpture will not go unnoticed.
