Photo frame, made in Argentor company, circa 1910.

An exceptional silver-plated frame with golden floral details and a medallion depicting a lady. This frame is perfect for showcasing a photograph of great personal significance.

Founded in 1863, Argentor was renowned for its silver and gold plating of metal items using a galvanic process. The company operated factories in Berlin, Vienna, and Paris. Argentor was one of the key manufacturers of metalwork during the Viennese Secession period and was a significant supplier to the Austro-Hungarian imperial court.
