Altdeutsch writing desk, made in Graz, ca. 1900

A solid wood writing desk in the characteristic style of its period. Inside the drawers, the original maker’s stamp can be found – Dipl. Ing. August Hackl, master cabinetmaker, Graz.

At the time of its creation, such desks were made especially for notaries, lawyers, and upper-class offices. Today, this stable and functional piece is perfect for a home office or a characterful working corner.
