An interesting small strongbox, crafted in the 19th century, evident from the fact that it is entirely riveted and has not a single weld – originally, at some point, someone apparently broke into the strongbox and then welded it back together. The story behind this is unknown; perhaps its owner lost the key and attempted to access its contents, or maybe the strongbox was stolen, and the thief tried to reach the valuables inside. Undoubtedly, something important must have been stored in it at some point. Made entirely of metal, it is solid and heavy. Additionally, it features a functional lock with a key, allowing you to still use it to store money and valuables. The blue color was likely added at a later period, and now, with its charmingly worn appearance, it adds character to the strongbox. Ideal for safeguarding your treasures, it also serves as an exceptional decorative item.
