Payment Methods

  • Credit card payments through online payment systems

Invoice Issuance

Discounts, promotional codes, etc., generally do not stack. However, discounts on individual items and promotional codes can be combined.

Funds paid via gift vouchers, bonuses, or pre-invoices do not accrue interest. Gift vouchers and promotional discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Coupons

Promotional codes or coupons provide various benefits during purchases and are usually time-limited. Active promotional codes can be found on our website, in the header of advertisements, in our newsletters, or other media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Gmail, etc.).

Exchanging a promotional code for cash is not possible. Coupons are redeemable only for their full value. If the value of the purchase exceeds the value of the coupon, the holder of the promotional code must pay the difference. The purchase value must be higher than the coupon value.

How to Use a Coupon/Promotional Code:

Order Process

1. Order is Accepted

After placing the order, the customer receives a notification via email confirming that the order has been accepted. The online store, »raroantiques.com,« reviews the order, verifies the availability of the ordered items, and either confirms or rejects the order with a reason.

To ensure the accuracy of data and successful delivery, »raroantiques.com« may contact the customer via the provided phone number.

For items not in stock at »raroantiques.com’s« warehouse, the company RARO ANTIQUES Nika Medved s.p. relies solely on its suppliers for delivery and the timeframes they set. Any changes or updates regarding item delivery will be communicated to the customer via email.

If the delivery time is too long and the customer does not wish to wait, they can notify RARO ANTIQUES Nika Medved s.p. In such cases, the company will:

  • remove the item from the order,
  • refund any already paid amounts,
  • deliver the remaining items in the order as requested by the customer or cancel the entire order.

If the supplier does not confirm the availability of the ordered items within three months of the order date, »raroantiques.com« may cancel the customer’s order, as the item is unavailable. The order will cease to be valid on the date of cancellation.

Limitation of Liability:
»raroantiques.com« is not liable for damages caused by longer delivery times or non-delivery of items not in stock in its own warehouse.

2. Order is Dispatched

Within the agreed timeframe, »raroantiques.com« prepares the item for shipping, dispatches it, or prepares it for personal collection and notifies the customer via email. If the order has already been dispatched, the customer can refuse the delivery when it arrives.

Purchases for Legal Entities

The purchasing process for legal entities is identical to that for individual customers, except that you place the order as an individual and include the note “I would like an invoice for a business” along with your company details.

If you request an invoice for a business, you accept the terms and conditions that apply to companies. The primary difference lies in the cancellation policy: businesses, sole proprietors, and other legal entities are allowed to return delivered items under warranty terms. However, these legal entities do not have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the item without providing a reason, as is the case for consumers (individuals).

Refunds are not possible. For business purchases, the same General Terms and Conditions apply, except for the previously mentioned cancellation policy.

Consumer’s Right to Withdraw from the Contract

A consumer (this applies exclusively to individuals purchasing items for purposes outside their business activities) has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the items that they wish to withdraw from the contract without providing any reason for their decision. The withdrawal period begins one day after the date of receipt of the items.

Returning the items to the company within the withdrawal period is considered timely if the withdrawal notification has been submitted. It is deemed that the consumer has returned the item on time if the seller receives it no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notification.

The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in the same quantity, except where the item has been destroyed, damaged, lost, or its quantity reduced through no fault of the consumer. The consumer may inspect and test the items only to the extent necessary to ascertain their actual condition. Any testing of the item beyond this scope is considered use, meaning the consumer loses the right to withdraw from the contract.

The only cost the consumer bears in relation to the withdrawal is the cost of returning the items (which, in the case of shipping, is charged according to the delivery service’s price list and depends on whether it is a package or freight). The item must be returned to the seller no later than 30 days after sending the withdrawal notification.

The consumer has no right to withdraw from the contract for items:

  • That were custom-made according to the consumer’s specifications,
  • That were tailored to their personal needs,
  • That, due to their nature, are not suitable for return.

Refunds for payments will be made as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days from the receipt of the withdrawal notification. To ensure security, accuracy, and timely processing, refunds are issued exclusively via transfer to the consumer’s bank account. Refunds in cash are not possible.

If the consumer used a promotional code or coupon when purchasing, the discount is considered used and is not refundable. Only the amount paid is refunded to the consumer’s bank account, and the coupon is reissued as a new promotional code.

In exceptional cases where items are not returned in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, the seller may offer to repurchase the item with appropriate compensation determined at the time of return. Consumer’s Right to Withdraw from the Contract for Items in a Set

If a consumer decides to withdraw from the contract for one or more items included in a set, they can request a refund for those items. The consumer may return one or more items from the set. When withdrawing from the contract for an item within a set, the consumer will receive a refund to their bank account (TRR) equivalent to the amount paid for the specific item(s) being returned.

Warranty

Products include a warranty if it is specified on the warranty card or invoice. The warranty is valid if the instructions on the warranty card are followed and the invoice is provided. Warranty periods are listed on the warranty card or invoice. A form for returning an item under warranty can be requested via email at info@raroantiques.com, provided that the item’s description includes a specified warranty period.

If no warranty information is provided, the item either does not have a warranty or the information is currently unavailable. Material Defect

When is a defect considered material?

A defect is deemed material in the following cases:

Returned Items with Open Packaging

Returned items are products that have been returned to RARO ANTIQUES Nika Medved s.p. and may have minor defects (e.g., damaged packaging, scratches on the casing, etc.) but are still available for resale.

The type of defect or condition of the item is documented for each product (both in the product description and on the invoice).

All returned items are inspected by RARO ANTIQUES Nika Medved s.p. Despite the return, open packaging, or other imperfections, we ensure their flawless functionality. Consequently, a new warranty period is assigned, which is clearly stated for each product.

If a returned item fails to function, the customer is entitled to warranty repair and withdrawal from the contract under the same terms as for other products.

Delivery

The contractual partner for the delivery of shipments for RARO ANTIQUES Nika Medved s.p. is Pošta Slovenije. However, “raroantiques.com” reserves the right to select another delivery service if this would enable the order to be fulfilled more efficiently.

Delivery Method and Cost

Our packages are delivered by Pošta Slovenije, which ensures that most packages are delivered within a few working days after the shipment notification. If you are not present at the specified address during delivery, you can collect the package at your nearest post office.

Products ordered from the “raroantiques.com” online store are dispatched as quickly as possible, typically on the day the order is received.

To ensure the fastest possible delivery, we always select the most optimal method. This is the parcel delivery service of Pošta Slovenije, meaning you can expect delivery within the next few days. If you are not at the specified address at the time of delivery, you can pick up the package at your nearest post office.

Shipping Costs

The cost of delivery depends on the weight, size of the item, and destination, and is charged according to the valid price list of Pošta Slovenije.

Delivery within Slovenia

Our partner delivers packages to the address provided when placing the order.

Since the delivery service operates within Pošta Slovenije’s working hours (and the postman’s schedule for a specific area), you can also opt for delivery to another name or address, such as your workplace. If you selected cash on delivery as your payment method, please ensure that the recipient of the package has sufficient cash on hand. If delivery is to a workplace, the package will be handed over to the authorized person for receiving shipments at the company.

If you are not present at the designated location (company, office, etc.) during delivery, the courier will leave a notice with instructions for further action. Typically, you will need to visit the nearest post office.

Important Notes:

  • Delivery to a poste restante address, a P.O. box, or a hotel address is not possible.

Delivery Times
